Cashmere care depends on the garment's fibre blend and label. Where hand washing is permitted, Ariel recommends water no warmer than 30 degrees and a detergent intended for wool and silk. Gently squeeze water through the item rather than twisting or wringing it.

Remove excess moisture with a towel, then reshape the garment and leave it flat to dry. Keep it away from radiators and direct sunlight. A mesh bag can help protect machine-washable examples, but permission to use a washing machine must come from the individual care instructions.
