Polyester is used in many garments and is frequently combined with other fibres. Ariel advises checking the care label before washing because the blend and construction can change the permitted treatment, even though many polyester items tolerate a warm machine programme.

When tumble drying is allowed, use the indicated cool setting and remove garments while slightly damp to help limit wrinkles and static. Iron only if needed and within the label's temperature limit, since excessive heat can damage polyester rather than improving a creased finish.
